We recently completed the final check of Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians, and are now preparing to record and print the 10 Pauline Epistles Scripture portion in anticipation of a dedication celebration with the Nukna people on April 4th. Praise God with us that these 10 epistles (Galatians through Philemon) are almost in the hands of the Nukna people!
We also completed the team check of the final chapters of Matthew, and then in November Matt spent 2 1/2 weeks in Hamelengan village, checking over the translation with the Nukna people (this is called a ‘village check’). On the heels of the recent Bible backgrounds course, interest in the translation work is high and we had large turnouts for these village checking sessions.
Matt also recently consultant checked John chapters 5-8 for the Onobasalu language (photo above).
