Come teach in Ukarumpa!
Thank you for your faithful prayers for us and our ministry in Papua New Guinea. Christy continues to fill a vital role at Ukarumpa International School (UIS), working as registrar, guidance counselor and P.E. teacher. She loves the daily interactions with students who come from all over the world. Most of her students are here in PNG because their parents are working as Bible translators or in support of Bible translation. Christy and her colleagues love being able to provide a great education for these kids that enables their families
to serve in Papua New Guinea.

Translation Update
Good progress has been made on the Nukna New Testament over the past few
months. Matt and the Nukna team completed the team check of Hebrews chapters
1-9, including some of the most difficult passages they have encountered.
Matt has also been working on the exegetical check of Revelation. A big focus has
also been on the drafting and printing of literacy books – pre-reading and early
reading books for the Nukna elementary schools, as well as story books for young
readers. Over the past few months we have produced sixty-four different titles,
some of which are pictured below in the hands of the Nukna translation team.
In June, Matt had the privilege of checking the translation of Galatians and Ephesians for the Wagi language. The Wagi team has gone through a lot of difficulties over the years, including health problems and security issues, such that this was their first consultant check in nine years. The Wagi translation advisor, So Hyun Kim, from Korea, shared that she had been having a hard time finding a consultant who was available to check for them, so when Matt agreed to do the check, it was a huge encouragement for her and the entire team. During the check, Matt was also able to supervise a trainee, Scott Baillie, who is working to gain experience to eventually become a translation consultant himself.
Enga New Testament Dedication
The Enga people group (the largest people group in PNG) recently celebrated the completion of the Enga New Testament. Our friends, Adam and Martha Boyd, are the translation advisors for the Enga translation. Justin had the opportunity to travel with friends (10 hours of driving each way over mountainous roads) to attend the dedication!
