Returning to PNG

In about a month, on January 7th, our family will be flying back to Papua New Guinea to continue our Bible translation ministry with the Nukna people.  This furlough has had its ups and downs, but we’re so thankful to God for his faithfulness, and to the many people in the body of Christ who have supported us through prayer, finances and just giving a helping hand when needed. Our whole family is excited to be heading back to our home on the other side of the Pacific, and to see what God will do during these next years! Please pray for us as we have so much to do to get ready, while at the same time we are also navigating the already busy Christmas season.

We are continually amazed at the generosity of God’s people.  We began this furlough with a large shortfall in our approved monthly ministry budget, but as of this week 100% of our needed monthly support has been pledged!  Thank you to each one of you who has committed to uphold us and our work with the Nukna, through your prayers and through your generous giving! We truly could not be translating God’s Word without you. In our last update, we also shared about a one-time funding need to replace the metal roof and water tank on our house in Papua New Guinea. To date, about three-quarters of this need has been met. Again, thank you!  Gifts toward this need can be given online (www.wycliffe.org/partner/taylor) or sent to Wycliffe’s Orlando address (below).

  1. As always, Love hearing your news! Praying that with God’s help and in His strength, you get everything done that is necessary, before you leave!
